Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Skills Check-Off
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) introduces the healthcare professional to the concepts and basic skills needed during neonatal resuscitation. NRP uses an evidence-based approach to newborn resuscitation. The course teaches causes, prevention, and management of neonatal complications caused by mild to severe asphyxia. It is designed to help develop optimal knowledge and skills healthcare professionals need during resuscitation.
NRP Course Structure
Our NRP course is designed to heighten the ability of participants to provide cardiac treatment for neonates, children, and young adults. This course is accredited by The American Heart Association.

How To Get Your NRP Certification
- STEP 1: Study and Prepare before the class for the NRP certification. Once your class has been confirmed, you will receive an e-book for the NRP 8th edition for no additional cost.
- STEP 2: Complete the Online Course and Exam (Before classroom Course) Create a login account and complete the online course and exam. Print your exam verification certificate and bring it to the course. (The online exam cost is not included in the course fee) (All lessons must be completed)
- STEP 3: Attend the Course. The course is hands-on and usually lasts 1-2 hours. Lessons completed on the exam will be covered during your skills check off
